Reputation Management Tips from Around the Web

The collective thoughts of multiple people usually means you are going to get some more advanced and interesting information than that of talking about something yourself. Therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to ask some of the biggest names in internet marketing to share any reputation management tips they have.

Needless to say, I think we have came up with a nice amount of quality information here that anyone can benefit from.

Google recognises the Growth of Reputation Management

I check the search results for reputation management and other close variations quite regularly and today I’ve just noticed something quite cool at the bottom of the search results:

Maybe I’ve been missing out but I don’t think I’ve ever seen this for search results, I see news results included all the time but not specifically blog posts.

Some possible reasons for this include:

  • Testing out this feature on lesser used keywords
  • Due to the sudden surge in writing about this topic, Google is noticing a trend

Whether this will last, I’m not sure, but I hope it does. I’m glad to see that an industry I’m trying to push and raise awareness of is continuing to grow at a great rate. The best part…this is just the beginning.

They wern’t exactly getting ‘nothing’ from blogs or top sites but it wasn’t anything to talk about. However, in pretty much one month of brand building and recommendations we changed all that.

In April we sent them well over 550,000 visitors from the likes of Digg, Fark, StumbleUpon and Reddit. While I can’t give the exact details, I am going to look into the steps they took based around the advice we gave them and how you can start to look at having similar success.

ViperChill Updates & eBook Changes

While I like to keep most of the blog posts informative, I also like to write on a personal level and have as many operations in this company as transparent as possible. With that in mind, here are some status updates…

Reputation Management Growth

With the shift into being one of the main sites that solely focuses on Reputation Management, it’s interesting to see how others follow. As I spend a lot of time in not only brand monitoring but niche monitoring, I have been watching this industry grow on a daily basis.
